Obama Week In Review
My own reading of President Obama’s week can be summed up as follows: overall budget plans (great), banking plans (horrible). Obama simultaneously unveiled one of the boldest, most progressive budgets in decades and a new bank bailout that will not protect taxpayers and lets failed bankers off the hook. And the bank rescue will be lead by the suspect Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner.
